Shangrila in Kuala Lumpur

Dubbed as the hidden paradise in the heart of a metropolis, Shangrila Kuala Lumpur is an ideal vacation hotel in the city. Visit the hotel's website in http://www.shangri-la.com/kualalumpur/shangrila/about/ to learn more about this five-star hotel.

Tip1: The hotel's location is strategically convenient for tourists, the famous towers are just walks away.
Tip2: Upon registration at the lobby the staff would ask for a incidental deposit amount for the room from the guests.
The lobby is very elegant and the staffs are very polite and accomodating, they also speak English fluently.

Tip3: There are also comfortable seats for the guests to enjoy while waiting.

Tip4:The restaurant at the lobby at night offers a relaxing evening with live performances.
Tip5: Shangrila Hotel's facilities include the swimming pool and the tennis court.

Tip6: The rooms are comfortable with downy soft beddings with high-rise buildings in sight.

Tip7: With minibar and complimentary bottles of water plus coffee.

Tip8: The bathrooms are clean and they also provide toiletries.

Tip9: The in-house food is very sumptous but the price is quite expensive. We tried the kwaey teow and Malaysia's famous nasi lemak. Along with the food is a very nice table setting and dessert.

Tip10: Lemon Cafe offers buffet breakfast, it is spacious and organized.

Tip11: Every accomodation includes a complimentary buffet breakfast. It is an international buffet including western and asian cuisines.

As tourists we always try to experience the nice hotels in the city. Shangrila Hotel is definitely one of our favorites. A bit expensive but the services are all worth it.
