Singapore Halloween Experience in Clarke Quay

We didn't know that Halloween parties in Singapore are thrilling and well participated. With our close friend, me and Angelo went to roam around Clarke Quay to spend the halloween night together.

We went there to have dinner and didn't expect that a lot of people wearing different costumes are participating and waiting for the Halloween open party to start.

Tip1: Costumes, prepare your Halloween costumes or try to visit Daiso stores to look for the materials and there are also "ready to wear" costumes. Like for me and my husband we bought his pumpkin hat and my pink sparkly ribbon in Daiso.

Initially we were not sure if people really dress up for Halloween in Clarke Quay,  then we learned that we are actually under-dressed! ^_^

Tip2: Go to Clarke Quay earlier or make dinner reservations to avoid long queues. We chose to dine in Hooters, it was a long queue.

Hooters is creepy! With skeletons hanging! Most of the people dining are also dressed up for Halloween.

We had a nice dinner but no beer. ^_^

We all love the fried pickles!

Tip3: Go for a stroll after dinner. And join the party! Combination of western and asian creepiness!

It was a good crowd! We enjoyed taking photos with the participants!

Try Clarke Quay Halloween this year, enjoy!

Christmas Eve Dinner at Cafe Mosaic Ritz Carlton Hotel Singapore

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. As a couple we really do our best to spend this special holiday together.

Searching the best buffet in the island is a bit tough specially during Christmas season because everyone's excited of the holidays.

For Christmas 2013, we opted to try Ritz Carlton Buffet in Singapore. The country is usually packed of tourists during this time of the year thus being an early bird is quite an advantage. And for Ritz Carlton, it's even tougher to do reservation because it's one of the best buffets island wide.

Tip1: Make an early reservation, they usually have discounts if using credit cards of specified banks. Refer to the hotel's website to get contact information.

Tip2: Send email inquiry at least 3 months before the planned Christmas dinner to ask for the menu. They also offer up to 50% discount for their guests.

Tip3: You may come on time or even earlier. As for me and my husband, we came earlier to have time to stroll around the hotel and hear carols.

At Cafe Mosaic entrance is a beautiful and mouth watering ginger bread house, a delightful view.

Tip4: Since it's Christmas time, we usually wear the holiday season color. Green and red! Cafe Mosaic also provides poppers, hats and whistles for cheers.

Tip5: Cafe Mosaic is spacious and can accommodate a lot of guests. There is also a wide variety of dishes offered. So far, I can say that this is the best buffet! The taste is very good and the food is of high quality.

For appetizers, I'm a fan of their salads! We were also amazed because we found jackfruit in the fruit corner.

For the bread lovers, you will surely enjoy their freshly baked pastries.

Enjoy the main dishes, vegetables and meat including fish, beef and pork. A combination of Italian, Korean and Chinese cuisines.

Who will not love cold prawns and king crabs?

Go and find the honey ham and turkey to complete the main course!

To complete the Christmas ambiance they made a long log cake arrangement. A lot of dessert choices that will surely make the guests beaming with smiles.

Tip6: After a sumptuous dinner, a glass of wine is a treat! Say your greetings and cheers to your loveones.

Tip7: Cafe Mosaic is also offering Christmas dishes like turkey and ham plus different types of desserts. These are all made to order, it's better to make a reservation.

Tip8: Don't forget to have a Ritz Carlton Christmas tree moment to seal the Christmas eve dinner.

Tip9: Stroll around Raffles City to see the beautiful Christmas decorations along the road.

Tip10: Let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas.

Six more months to go, plan your Christmas dinner ahead of time. Enjoy a worthy dinner with the family!
Make each moment count! ^_^
