Prawning at Bottle Tree Park Singapore

Planning an early weekend morning activity in a busy city sounds easy but to add a little twist is quite challenging.
In Singapore where most of the people go to the mall to avoid the hot and humid weather, some still opted to connect with nature.
With the recommendation of a friend, I learned about Bottle Tree Park Singapore. It's a recreational area where the main activities offered are fishing and prawning.

I chose prawning for me and my husband because it's a relax activity, the purpose is to work on our patience. Both of us are usually very busy and I feel that it's a good activity to let go of the gadgets and work on our patience.

Bottle Tree Park icon is the bottle tree planted in their lot. It's a bottle shaped tree that surely draws visitors.

Bottle Tree Park offers a wide range of activity from fishing/prawning to target shooting/paintball shooting. Also, they accommodate different parties for team building and family gathering.

Tip1:  For more information visit Bottle Tree Park website.

Tip2: The best time to go is early in the morning, the rate is per hour and the staff though Mandarin speaking still can communicate with English speaking visitors.

Tip3: Find a comfortable place and ask the staff how to do the bait if it's your first try. Prawn bait is different from fishing. Just put the bait on the tip of the hook, do not push the bait to far from the hook's tip.

Tip4: There is an available grill in the prawn area.

Enjoy your catch! ^_^
