Singapore's Siloso Beach Resort and Vivo City

It was in June when me and my husband visited Siloso Beach Resort. The 2 day- stay in the resort was a birthday gift from my better half.

Tip1 : The resort is located in Siloso Beach, Sentosa Island. For accomodation, refer to their official website http://www.silosobeachresort.com/ .

The resort is considered a beach-front property.

Tip2: Stroll along the beach, enjoy some drinks in the nearby bars.

Tip3: The rustic ambiance of the resort is very relaxing.

The long pool is a treat, plus the cooling waterfalls is a lovely place to spend hot days in Sentosa.

The resort also have a roof deck, a good place to sun bath and enjoy the coastal view of Sentosa.

Buffet breakfast is provided in the resort's restaurant.

Tip4: There are deluxe rooms and family suites in Siloso Beach Resort to cater for the guests' preferences.

Tip5: The rooms are clean, toilet is relatively small but tidy as well. Toiletries are provided.

Tip6: There are shuttle busses to go around Sentosa Island from and to the resort.

Tip7: Visit the Merlion and enjoy Sentosa Island. A lot of activities to do and shops to visit.

Tip8: Visit Vivo City by strolling along the boardwalk. Enjoy the mall and have a sumptous dinner in Japanese cuisine. A little shopping won't hurt too.

It was a short stay but I enjoyed my birthday weekend. Happy heart!

Fuji Restaurant at Don Mueang Airport Bangkok

One of the good suprises that we had at Don Meuang International Airport is finding Fuji Restaurant. We were expecting that food prices in the airport are more expensive than the city but we were proven wrong.

Fuji Restaurant is a well-designed restaurant, simple yet clean. The staffs are welcoming, it is hard to miss once you entered the boarding area.

Decorated with cherry blossoms wallpapers made the place more welcoming.

They are offering affordable Japanese food, the servings are quite big and for our experience we can say that it was a sumptous meal.

They have set meals complete with drinks and dessert. Worth a try!

If you happen to travel to visit DMK airport, Fuji Restaurant is a good stopover.

Happy bellies!

Fumi in Bangkok, Thailand

For the holidays we decided to travel to Bangkok for a short vacation. Upon visiting Siam Paragon at Siam, we saw Fumi offering pizza sushi. That's when we got curious and decided to try.

Tip1: In Siam Paragon, Fumi is located in the foodcourt at the basement.

Tip2: They also offer other Japanese dishes like ramen, bento meals and appetizers.

The place is usually packed with diners, need to wait to be seated.

Browse through their menu to see more of their dishes.

We tried the chicken bento meal and salmon avocado pizza sushi. The servings are quite small and it's only for one person, the price is affordable.

Tip3: Gourmet Market is also located in the basement, the market is quite big and offers a wide variety of cooked and uncooked meals.

Have some pizza sushi experience!
