After going around the city of Brussels in Belgium, our road trip to Paris, France started. The plan was to go to Paris and Disneyland. We planned for a 2-day itinerary for France, one day for Paris and the other one day for Paris Disneyland.
Tip1: Driving in France is quite different because the highway has a speed limit. We exceeded our speed limit and at the tollgate we were fined 90euros. Please be careful of the traffic rules in France.
Tip2: We are supposed to book a hotel room in France but we saw Yelloh Village during our research. We wanted to have a place where we can cook, the village suits us well. For information please refer to http://www.yellohvillage.co.uk/camping/yelloh_paris_ile_de_france .
Tip3: The village is approximately an hour away from Paris.
Tip4: The village is located in France's countryside, it's peaceful and clean.
Tip5: I advise that it's better to learn the basic French phrases to communicate well with the locals.
Tip6: We chose a mobile home for our stay in the village.
Tip7: The resort is vast where they also accept camping and swimming. They have common toilets and bathrooms for those that come with tents.
Tip8: They also provide bicycles for the guests. The village was designed for biking as well.
Tip9: They got a pool where the guests can enjoy sunbathing and swimming.
Tip10: Each mobile home has a private parking area.
Tip11: Mobile homes are complete with kitchen utensils from stove to kettle to knives and cooking pans. We just prepared our own dinner, I did some banana veggie salad, paos, sausages, noodles plus the waffles that we bought from Brussels.
Tip12: Bring your own drinking water and food or you can purchase cooked meals from the restaurant.
Tip13: Dining table is also provided.
Tip14: The mobile home also have a very nice bathroom with hot and cold water.
Tip15: Plus one bedroom that can accommodate 3 persons.
Tip16: In the morning walking and biking is ideal because of the green fields and the countryside breeze.
Tip17: The accomodation in Yelloh also includes toiletries.
The countryside of France is a place that I consider one of my favorites. I love the simplicity of the town and the green fields' fresh scent.
